What you see – Comfort Furniture is located in the posh area of Aundh in Pune. It is a two storied building, spacious and well organized.

What you get – Comfort has furniture for home. This includes sofa sets, centre tables, dining tables, rocking chairs, wall units, beds, cupboards, dressing tables and some wall hangings.

The ground floor is spacious and has a lot of sofa sets. These are mostly heavy ones with bold floral patterns or abstract designs and range from Rs. 39,000-49,000. You can choose the upholstery of your choice. Comfort also has a good variety of centre tables. They are mostly with glass tops costing Rs. 10,000 and more. There are elegant and simplistic rocking chairs as well for Rs. 10,000-12,000. Do check out their wall unit collection as it is the best of the lot. These are made of dark wood with niches for show pieces and television set. If you are looking for bean bags, Comfort has them in over 15 colors. Then there is limited garden furniture collection too including a set of two cane chairs and a coffee table for Rs. 10,000-12,000.

On the first floor you will find bedroom furniture and dining tables on display. There are beds for master bedroom (Rs. 56,000 to a lakh) as well as for kids. Side tables are available too. The beds for kids are colorful and funky in wood and medium density fiber (MDF). You can also pick up bed linen from here.

At Comfort you can also find some good choice in dressing tables. The ones in dark wood are worth a buy. For your dining area needs, there are six seater glass top dining tables (Rs. 29,500-48,000). Comfort also designs modular kitchens.

In terms of home décor, Comfort has wall hangings. They may not have the best collection here but there are a few interesting pieces like the framed antique rifles that we saw. A limited number of framed paintings and some ceramic wall hangings are available too.

Our verdict – Comfort is a spacious furniture store with a slight inclination towards bold colors and designs. So if you are looking for something simple this is not the place for you. Also keep in mind that the sofa sets are heavy and so may not suit a small apartment. There are enough attendants to show you around and they allow you to browse at your own pace. Parking space is available. Do check with them on schemes. They do have interesting ones at times.
