What you see - Located in Sohrab Hall this classy store attracts passersby with its creative display. For instance, when MetroMela visited it, the display had a red theme with glitter candles, ceramic cutlery and glamorous ornate cushions. Inside the two-level store we noticed that the wide collection of artifacts was handcrafted by talented artisans all over the country.

They have a wide range of aromatic candles and incense sticks from the brand Maroma. The candles are available in flavors ranging from orange, sandalwood and lavender. Two kilogram ones are there too at around Rs. 1,270.
They have an interesting designer metal ware collection from brands like Magppie and Art D’Inox. Then there is a range of exclusive silver plated products. A tray set, cutlery and serving set could cost anywhere between Rs. 1,200 and Rs. 3,000. If you are looking for something more traditional they have finest clay and ceramic earthenware tea-sets, mother of pearl dinner sets, chutney holders, handmade paper trays (Rs. 470) and coasters (Rs. 670) with captivating colors for the rustic appeal.
On the home front, they have a wide collection of articles to decorate every nook and corner of your abode. These include terracotta ganpatis, glitter diyas, lampshades, lanterns, small wooden tables, a wooden cupboard (Rs. 19,200) and cabinet (Rs. 11,600) and wall hangings along with brass finish mirrors (Rs. 3,800).
They also have sets of dazzling pillows, bolsters, table mat sets with rings, tablecloths and napkins in earthy colors with intricate embroidery and gold imprints.
And the dressy look is just not confined to home accessories and furnishings. They have junk jewelry in beads, buttons, lace and brass in the price range of Rs. 20-220 from different parts of the country apart from pretty mojris (Rs. 495). Right from Kashmir they have Pashmina stoles (Rs. 850), shawls (Rs. 2,200) and embroidered scarves.
The shop is extremely popular for its gift collection. They have interesting frames in glitter finish, ceramic, lacquer work, radiant steel and wooden. MetroMela loved their multi-colored broken glasses frames (Rs. 215-310). Also, they have semi precious stones and silver jewelry like lockets, anklets (Rs. 450) and embroidered purses to gift your loved one. They have excellent jewelry boxes in lacquer work, camel bone and sandalwood as well.
Our verdict – The shop has a distinct style of its own. We came to know that a part of its proceedings from a particular section goes to a woman’s organization called Disha which also makes these handmade Indian products. Definitely a must visit as the store is quite a novelty.
