They have two stores – one located in Deccan Gymkhana opposite Kaka Halwai, which is called Pets n Garden and the other in Karve Nagar, opposite Joshi Sweets, near CDSS, which is called Pet’s Corner. Both the stores look small, but are well stocked with pet accessories, food, toys, medicines etc. Pets n Garden is a seven-year-old store while relatively newer Pets Corner has been around for three years.

 

What you get - At Pets n Garden, you can shop for a variety of dog food, chew sticks, chewy  bone, shampoo, calcium and vitamin tablets, biscuits, raincoats and many other interesting utility items. Pet food comes in the range of Rs. 160 to 3000. Popular domestic pet food brand Pedigree is available here. And if you are looking for international food brands, you can take your pick from Royal Canine, Bento Kronen and Pro Pac. For birds, they have items like corn millets and bird seeds like safflower seeds, sunflower seeds, sorghum and flaxseeds, to name a few. Pet toys are available in range of Rs. 40 to 500. A little expensive, imported toys are priced upwards of Rs. 1000. For prevention and cure of ailments, they offer a range of medicines also. They also sell pet accessories like collars, bowls, leashes etc in the range of Rs. 40 to 150.

Pets n Garden also builds customized aquariums. When asked about an aquarium’s cost, they said that fish tank costs around Rs. 500 and the rest of the material including gravel, pump, rocks, plants, wood and other decoration adds up to about Rs. 2000. 

They also have lawn and garden tools, and supplies like soil conditioners, manure, special mud etc. Garden tools sold here are priced upwards of Rs. 80 and soil comes for Rs. 30-35/kg.

 

Our verdict - Pets n Garden has been running successfully and customers are extremely happy to get all the pet supplies at a reasonable cost under one roof. It might look like a small store, however, it is just the right place to go on shopping spree for your pet. The shop sells it all from widest range of pet food brands to luxury pet accessories. So go ahead and show your love for your pooch or your birdie by gifting him what he loves the most.
