What you see - Shoe Tree footwear shop in ICC Towers, Senapati Bapat Road in Pune, is conspicuous with its vibrant lime green name board and a small tree like structure branching out of it. The showroom is usually buzzing and the display is good enough.
What you get – Shoe Tree has casual, party wear and formal shoes for men and women apart from limited footwear for kids. Other accessories like bags and wallets are there too.
In women’s footwear, the store has a good collection of flats like ballerina shoes. MetroMela liked a pretty pair in black lace with slight heels. These look feminine and comfortable. They also have a range of Indian colorful slipons like Kolhapuris in different colors. In heels, they have Gladiator heels which may seem a little garish. The must-haves though are the leather boots in different colors and styles. In casual wear, canvas shoes and slippers from Levis and Lotto are there too.
In men’s footwear, Shoe Tree in Pune has Samsonite collection of comfortable leather slippers in different colors that are casual yet classy. Suave formal shoes are available here at around Rs. 2,495. If you like pointed shoes they have some embroidered ones in beige and brown. Our recommendation would be the suede and black leather shoes for Rs. 4,295; excellent for formal parties or even receptions. We also spotted Vertex shoes that are known for their comfort level.
Shoe Tree also has other accessories like belts, key chains and wallets for men and big leather bags and clutches in vibrant colors for women. These are mostly in striking colors like red and purple. Our eyes stopped at a purple bag with a brown handle which seemed expensive for Rs. 2,495 but the quality and style seemed sassy. This section also has Crocs available for all age groups.
Our verdict - The collection at Shoe Tree in Pune is good though a part of it is a bit gaudy and expensive. They have sales once in a while where the collection is available for even up to 50% off. So worth a visit then. Customer support is helpful offering genuine advice. Pay and park facility is available.
