You may not do this at any other stationery store, but at Venus Traders, you may just need to.

What you get - As you make your way through the aisles, you will come across racks of writing instruments, where you can find pens ranging from a lowly Rs. 5 to a pricey Rs.18,000. Prominent brands like Reynolds and Parker and designer names like Cartier and Senator, all share the same shelf space.

The best thing about the store is its excellent display, which makes browsing a pleasure and zeroing in on a specific product, extremely convenient. This means, separate aisles for files and folders, drawing material and the like. In fact, the store seems to offer everything that an office would need. A small but useful item that you should pick is one of those pocket diaries that can be hung around the neck. These cost Rs. 30 a piece.

Another impressive section of this store deals with products related to art. So if you are an artist looking for paint brushes, water colors and pens for calligraphy, Venus is the store that you should head to. They have a different area earmarked exclusively for art supplies which also stocks an interesting collection of books on art.
